Send Money: Maya to Maya
If you need cash pickup, Smart Padala can be used by sending to a Smart Padala agent number and following the agent’s claim process.
This site explains PayMaya Transfer (now Maya) for everyday money sending in the Philippines: Maya-to-Maya, bank transfers, and cash-out options.
Maya-to-Maya transfers are typically instant and free when sending to another Maya user via mobile number or @username.
For transfers to local banks and other wallets, Maya commonly supports InstaPay for instant posting (often ₱15 per transfer) and PESONet for scheduled bank processing.
To send money in the Maya app, log in, choose “Send Money” (Maya-to-Maya) or “Bank Transfer” (banks/wallets), enter recipient details, set the amount, review, and confirm with OTP.
Use OTP carefully and double-check recipient details before confirming. If a transfer fails or is delayed, check network status, limits, and the selected rail (InstaPay vs PESONet).
